“indifference is hard to combat and difficult to deal with.” I start writing this in my slingshot/journal as my cat pleads for my attention. The irony isn’t lost on me, so I put down my pen, tuck my angst away for a second, and I reach out to touch him, and he darts away, gone from the room in less than a second.
i wonder if there’s something to be said in all that....
